hello, visit a dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated.

Ma'am reasons for tooth ache in already RCT treated tooth are:- 1- Re-infection. 2- RCT not done properly. 3- Tooth decay had started. 4- Food getting lodged under the crown. If you are having crown with a metal layer under it can give a black appearance near the gum margins. Secondarily if you have not got the crown after RCT then the tooth becomes black due to the following reasons:- 1- Dentist did not remove all the tissues while doing RCT and left bacteria inside the tooth which discoloured the tooth. 2- If the tooth sustained a blow and the tooth died before the RCT

Hi. It can be due to secindary decay due to non placement of cap on Rct treated teeth or new decay from below the cap. Kindly visit a dentist who is take X-ray of teeth and inform you if the tooth can be retreated.
