First xray will be done to check out the extent of decay, if tooth structure is good then dentist will suggest pulpotomy followed by crown.

As child is 7 year old and each baby tooth has certain age to stay in oral cavity . Hello ma'am,  the  picture is not clear. If you are saying the baby's tooth has broken half way then we have to see what type of tooth fracture it is whether it's horizontal or vertical and whether the root is also involved or not in the fracture. So visit the clinic so that proper treatment would be done.
