Hello , I have attached my father x-ray. Doctor advised to remove the tooth . We have to go for a trip from 1 oct to 5 oct . My question is that should we remove the tooth now or after trip . What is the healing so that we shouldn't face any problem at trip . Please advise. Thanks.

Hello , its a number of teeth which needs to be extracted so you can plan them accordingly . If there is no pain you can plan them after the trip . Also check for hb1ac, (if any cardiac problem or taking aspirin he would have to talk to the cardiologist first ) it generally takes a week to heal but depends on patients as well
Next Steps
if there is no pain,  plan it after the trip take a painkiller along with you for a safer option

If he is not having any pain then extractions should be done after the trip. You have to also check for bp and HbA1c before undergoing extractions.

Depends on how many teeth the doctor has advised to extract. Looking at the xray there are several teeths which needs to be extracted. If it's one or two , you can go for it now but if multiple teeths needs to be extracted then you should be more careful regarding his comfort and proper healing. After consulting about the whole medical history to the doctor , you can go for extraction preferably after the trip.

The x ray shows your father requires multiple teeth extractions. Prior to extractions, would also like to know his medical history if he's diabetic or hypertensive. If all is well, extractions can be done before the travel, but preferably not within 1 week of travel. The primary healing would happen within a week. I would suggest doing the extractions that are absolutely necessary or the teeth with poor prognosis first, then after returning to proceed with the rest of the treatments as it is a full mouth rehabilitation
Next Steps
visit the nearest dentist to plan the treatment

There are lots of teeth which require extra extraction. Some of the roots have infection in them, and then there is a big molar on the right side of the jaw. Without knowing which exact tooth is in question, it becomes difficult to exactly suggest. Some of the teeth may require RCT treatment also. But since your trip is in first week of October, you seem to have a lot of time in hand. Do not go for a lot of multiple extractions but one by one. And one week before travelling, no extraction should be done.
Next Steps
Plan the extractions and other treatments with the concerned Dentist well in advance.

Hello sir , the OPG you have attached shows multiple decayed teeth(only roots left ) which need to be extracted . If your father doesn't have a medical history ( diabetic or hypertensive ) you can get the extraction done for the superficial ones. Normally , the wound heals within a week unless there is an underlying medical condition.
Next Steps
You can visit the nearest dental professional for a better clinical examination who can guide you with a proper treatment plan.
