Broken tooth can cause serous pain and discomfort. Tongue tends to go there again and again because it is feeling someting different or abnormal from the normal teeth structure and it takes time fir the tongue to get use to it, that is its natural but try to avoide it as sson as possible. Pain is may be due to pulp exposure because of broken teeth, which is a danger bell. Please seek a dentist as soon as possible for proper diagnosis after a xray and its treatment thereafter which may vary from just a simple filling to rct and cap or even tooth removal if you avoide it further and it facture even more. Pain could be due to vital part ot the tooth containing nerves being exposed . It might need just a filling or may be rct.  Suggest you to visit a dentist and get your tooth examined . Also the broken part of tooth may cause ulceration in tongue.

Kindly visit a dentist and get the tooth checked asap..if the tooth is paining probably the fracture is involving the pulp of the tooth..the dentist will take an x-ray assess the extent of fracture and according to that would be the treatment plan..an rct or extraction..kindly get it reviewed at the earliest..

It appears that the tooth ache is due to tooth pulp exposure due to fracture. Please visit a nearby dentist to check with a radiigraph and then decide on treatment.

Tooth never break itself..it only breaks when more pressure is applied while chewing very hard food or tooth have hidden caries..so you should go for a dental checkup.because if there is decay approaching to vital part of tooth then it may require rct but if it is not approaching to vital part of tooth then restoration or cap or inlay if required , can be made and you can save vitality of your tooth and save life of tooth but if ignore , then you may lose your tooth also...
