Slight swelling in my lower jaw....unable to drink anything hot...sometimes even cold....have acute pain ...tried painkillers...

Please visit a dentist as soon as possible as there could be an infection. The tooth could be possibly saved by doing root canal treatment however if its beyond repair you might hve to get it removed. Visit the dentist soon and take medication for the same. Pain will not be relieved till the infection is still present
