Hi.. you need to visit dentist to know if your wisdom tooth is giving you this trouble. Do not ignore. It may NOT be TMJ issue.

You should visit a dentist and get an OPG done to diagnose the problem in the joint. The problem can be solved with splints over a period of time. Splints are removable appliances to de-stress your joint.

Have you undergone any dental treatment recently? Get an OPG xray done first.

You could be grinding or clenching your teeth..see if you become aware of this. Also have you recently got a filling put in? If so it might be prematurely contacting triggering pain. If it is clenching then wearing an occlusal guard is recommended.Meet your dentist to come to the root of your problem

Consult an oral surgeon to check the issue. In the meanwhile avoid very hard things to eat and avoid opening your mouth too wide while yawning etc.
