Hi Mam, My Tiffa scan reports in 19weeks pregnancy says everything is normal but I didn't understand some terminology regarding FETAL GIT, it says stomach bubble is visualized, rest of the bowel unremarkable. Cord insertion is normal, three vessel cord.. Can you explain this mam.. Is there anything I need to worry. My doctor said everything seems normal.

This is also normal. The stomach bubble is visualised. It means that there is no obstruction in the oesophagus (food pipe) of the baby. Cord insertion is normal. It means that the umbilical cord is normal and also that the abdominal wall is normal. Three vessel cord. It is normal. Some babies may have two vessel cord which is abnormal.
