Thyroid tablets -post pregnancy
I'm mom to 37 days child. After c section my doctor said that I got thyroid during pregnancy.
- Is it true that Because of thyroid does baby will born with low weight (2.2 kg) ?
- Because of my thyroid does baby gets thyroid?
And are there any other complications by thyroid?
I'm using below attached tablets before eat. Should I keep 1 hour gap after taking tablet and breakfast? Sometimes I'm eating immediately after taking a tablet.
Please suggest.

As a matter of routine every baby born in most of the hospitals has TSH level done on the 2nd or 3rd day after birth. If baby's TSH is high the baby is put on Thyronorm.

Take thyroid medicine regularly. Take the medicine first thing in the morning. There should be a gap of at least 30 min between medicine and food.

Thyroid disorder is not responsible for a low birth weight baby
I am sure during pregnancy your thyroid levels would have been controlled by medication
at birth the babies thyroid levels are also checked
Was that done in ur case?
After delivery you need to continue with the same dose of thyroid medication for the first 45 days after 45 days you need to recheck your thyroid levels and the next of thyroid medication will be adjusted accordingly
you need to take the thyroid medication before breakfast after 15 minutes you can have breakfast
