Hi doctor, I am gaining weight so thought this is might be thyroid problem because My mother is thyroid issue. But now I am confused my T3 and T4 is normal only TSH is high what to do next

As per your result only TSH is above normal and T3 T4 are normal ,it's known as subclinical hypothyroidism. You being an IT professional desk based job,you are prone to put on weight, unless you are particular about weight and life style In subclinical hypothyroidism treatment is initiated only if TSH is above 10, unless person is symptomatic.At this point you could repeat the test after 2 months again along with lipid profile, liver function tests, renal function tests and fasting glucose levels and HBA1C

your BMI is 29.21 ie over weight,you can work on your weight , eating habits and daily exercise for 30 minutes
