take care of your hygiene and clean your tongue regularly. Green color could be due to chromogenic bacteria present in the oral cavity. Throat irritation/infection could also result from poor oral hygiene.

Use a Tongue Scraper/Tongue cleaner regularly after brushing. Get scaling and polishing done. Brush twice daily. Do warm saline rinses 3 to 4 times a day for a week. Rinse after every meal. Maintain oral hygeine.

Hi.. Green color is because of bacteria, you have to regularly clean your tongue while brushing your teeth. If you are not cleaning properly the debris and bacteria accumulates and the coating becomes thick. This may lead to throat infection as well. Sometimes color of the tongue coat changes with food or medicines we take.
Next Steps
Clean your tongue, warm salt water rinses helps to reduce the bacterial load.
Health Tips
If you are having severe pain and discomfort visit Dr and take prescribed medicines.

Regularly clean ur tongue  twice a day while brushing.its just accumulation of bacteria bcz of improper cleaning . Definitely the bacteria spreads to throat and it leads to pharyngitis . After cleaning also ,if u r feeling the same and increase in bacterial growth just visit a local dentist for further  evaluation.
Next Steps
proper brushing n salt water gargling is enough.
