1. Foods You Should Avoid If You Want High
Testosterone :
Trans Fats.
High-PUFA Vegetable Oils.
Alcohol.
Soy Products.
2. Relation between Testosterone and Estrogen:
First, all our hormones are derived from cholesterol. Then, our body’s enzymes transform the cholesterol into pregnenolone, a neurosteroid. Afterwards, the pregnenolone can then be transformed into either DHEA or progesterone. If it is made into DHEA, then it is changed once again into testosterone.
As you can see, there are multiple chemical reactions inside the body to create testosterone from cholesterol.
What is interesting about testosterone, is that it is only one enzymatic reaction away from becoming estradiol.
All estradiol within the body is made out of testosterone.
For this reason, when you replenish the body’s testosterone levels, the body then has more testosterone available to transform into estrogen.
When using any form of testosterone replacement therapy, both the testosterone AND estradiol levels should be monitored.
