I have noticed a small crack in the tartar at the back of my front teeth. Should I worry? Can I wait 2 weeks to visit my dentist as I am not in the town. I have shared the picture below. PS. Composite resin has been done on the gaps of my front teeth four months back. Yellow thing was not there was after the resin filling. It was build up few weeks later.

The tartar should be removed as early as possible..as it weakens the tooth. It affects gums and tooth becomes mobile.Brushing should be done properly. It can only be removed by scaling.so whenever u come to town ...visit the dentist first

Small Crack may be due to tooth fracture. Get xray of tooth and based on clinical examination, teeth has to be cleaned, filled,or root canal treated.

Don't think it as an emergent issue until it starts hurting you or injure your gums. Keep up with your dental hygiene with twice daily brush and occasional mouthwash. Follow Dr. Chawla's Dental & Implant Center for more information
Health Tips
if it's sharp get it removed immediately before it creates an ulcer

You can wait. However if it breaks and causes an injury to the gum tissue, it may cause some pain. Try to get the scaling done when possible at the earliest.
