Swollen gum

For the past two days my gum is swollen in the front, and it was aching and then suddenly today morning when checked it , it was still swollen and became white... what can be the cause??

Hi..the swollen gums is due to the infection at the tip of the root through the pulp of the respective tooth due to dental caries.The periapical infection has to be ruled out through the Xray examination.Then the treatment plan can be decided accordingly.

Some sort of infection  which may be due to caries leading to periapical infection or a periodontal  infection. Advice u to visit nearby dentist , get clinically checked and an x ray done of concern tooth and get it treated accordingly.
