Susten Injection Needle Advise

I’m currently undergoing IVF treatment and will be moving to FET next week. My doctor prescribed Susten progesterone injections for 6 days and advised me to have a nurse administer them. Today, I took my first dose at a maternity clinic. The nurse switched to a thinner needle because the original Susten injection needle was quite large and could have been painful. Will using a thinner needle for the injection cause any issues?
