Superficial dog bite
I experienced an attempted dog attack late Monday night by a known stray dog in my building. The dog a few minutes prior came to me and let me pet it. But after approximately 10 minutes i went to pick something off the ground and he pounced towards my hand. I was wearing a LONG SLEEVED T-SHIRT AND WRIST WRAP under the sleeve at the time of the attempted attack. I was able to get my hand away in time but i got a small superficial bruise on the forearm towards wrist. Came home, washed the wound with soap and water and applied betadine.
Have been doing this treatment routine 2-3 times a day since the attack and the wound is now healing. Sharing images of healing progress.
Dog is healthy and has no signs of rabies.
