Insomnia can be due to a lot of reasons for eg stress, overstimilation due to excessive use of caffeine or to much screen time. It can also occur in mental health issues like anxiety and depression. You can benefit from certain sleep hygiene techniques like regular exercise preferably in the morning, meditation, avoiding caffeine, nicotine and alcohol, avoiding day time naps, avoiding screen time before bed,, making sure your room is quite and comfortable. If these did not help, please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and management.
