Hi there,
Sleeplessness as an individual disorder is extremely rare. It is invariably associated with some co-morbid problem like depression and anxiety.
Our sleep has various components to it. The problem could be with initiation, maintenance, or early awakenings. All are a reflection of a disturbance in the sleep architecture, as a result of neurotransmitter changes happening in the brain when we are depressed or anxious.
I strongly recommend you to consult with a Psychiatrist at the earliest, who can get to root of your problems and devise an appropriate treatment plan.
