I don't know why you are getting such ideas. Placenta can be Anterior or Posterior, and also Left lateral or Right lateral, and Fundal. Now there are FIVE broad positions and there are only TWO Sexes. What about the remaining three positions ? Please think about them also.

That's the placental position Does not indicate a boy or girl!! Sex determination is a punishable offence am sure ur aware of that!!
