Recurrence of dislocation means your labrum or stopper is not functioning well. A dislocation is most painful experience ever. If the stopper of shoulder is not functioning then you may repeated dislocation which will cause defect in the bone every time it dislocates. To do exercises or not is not the question here. Please get an MRI and quantify the amount of defect if too much then get it repaired if it's small then exercises.
Next Steps
Get a MRI . For any other doubts please consult me on below link. Thank you

Do a MRI and get operated if required. You are too young to live with this for the rest of your life.
