I'm sorry for the loss of your baby. Six months is usually enough time for your body to recover physically before trying again. With your history of a short cervix and a preterm birth at 33 weeks, your next pregnancy needs closer cervical monitoring from the start, not just the usual timing.
Next Steps
Before you try to conceive, see your obstetrician to plan this pregnancy. They can arrange earlier, more frequent cervical length scans and decide whether a cerclage or vaginal progesterone from early on would help you this time.
Health Tips
Once pregnant, report any pelvic pressure, spotting or unusual discharge right away so your cervix can be checked sooner rather than later.
