Hi Doc, I have started taking Himalaya Company's Shilajit Capsules 1-1 tablet twice daily from last 1 month. I feel that I have trouble falling asleep at night and takes around 3-4PM for me to fall asleep. Is this any kind of side effect? Also I feel a bit of palpitations. Please suggest.

Hello Sir, taking shilajit makes you feel energetic and if you are taking Shilajit you should do proper workout and should try to exercise daily or you can decrease the dose to single capsule a day.

Namaste, if you are contraindicated to take shilajit then you should consult doctor firstly.  Basically, shilajit is the ideal medicine for kapha disorder, if you have dominance of pitta /heat then ideal to take advice to ayurved physician.
