Sensitivity in deep restoration

Hii i got a deep restoration done 3 months back it was fine till now bt since few days i am having sensitivity in that tooth after having anything hot cold and sweet. What should i do.. my dr gave me antisensitivity paste and said if it does not get better i will have to get rct... can someone guide me what to do?

Hi, Use the anti-sensitivity paste prescribed by your dentist. If there is no reduction in sensitivity then you can think about undergoing RCT. Get an X-ray for the tooth and share.

If you have sensitivity from both hot and cold. Better go for RCT. Visit a local dentist for physical evaluation and treatment (as required).

Anti sensitivity paste may not be of much use of the sensitivity of severe. Yes, if the problem increases you will require RCT to control the symptoms. It’s nothing unusual this happens the deep carious lessons.
