The dentist has advised you correctly, the tooth which you have shown had furcation involved. Such cases have very bad prognosis. Its advisable to extract the tooth.

The furcal involvement and peri apical lesion shows bad prognosis even after the root canal, it's better to go for extraction.

Doctor advised u for extraction bcz not only the periapical infection (the black spot u mentioned)but also the decay reached till furcation even a attempt for root canal may fracture the tooth cause bleeding and swelling so best option is go for EXTRACTION. Followed by immediate implant .
