One thing I cannot understand whether your root canal treatment is completed or not. If it's not completed then go for further visit and get it completed as soon as possible. If root canal process is complete then go for x ray. As it might be a case of re infection. Consult doctor online or offline for better guidance.

Once the root canal is opened ,the procedures must be completed at the earliest to prevent secondary infections. So go get it complete.

You can visit a nearby dentist. It's not a problem. I'm not sure from your query if your RCT was completed a month back or you have had one sitting done and it's not completed yet. In any case, if you're having pain again and again despite medicines, it's better to visit a nearby dentist for initiating the treatment.
