Right shoulder is lower than left

2020-06-15 10:23:36
From many months my right shoulder is lower than left one. I can still rotate it completely in circles, I can lift weights, and can perform all tasks with it. Few years back I had pain running from to that shoulder to neck, but it became less. Should I visit orthopaedic or physiotherapist? Or suggest a solution please.

Hello dear Keeping your age in mind and recent onset of your pain you seem to have scapular dyskinesia and weak periscapular and rotator cuff muscles. I expect you to have recurrent neck pains and difficulty in throwing a ball. Also you might have increased incidence of hair fall, acidity, weakness, cramps etc. If you can relate with me please do get back and i will design a treatment protocol for you so as not to have similar problems in the future Regards Dr Vipin Gupta

There are various reasons for shoulder asymmetry.. it would be better if you could share the picture showing both the shoulders.. Is there any pain in that shoulder as well.. we need to also rule out some asymmetry in spine or hip which may be causing visible deformity at shoulder level .
Next Steps
If there is a visible deformity, you can get one x ray done to rule out any bony deformity..
