The MRI report of my right knee joint as under IMPRESSION: • Complete tear of the femoral attachment of the anterior cruciate ligament with buckling posterior cruciate ligament .• Kissing contusion in the lateral femoral condyle and posterolateral tibial condyle. • Non displaced fracture of the head of fibula .• Mild sprain of the medial collateral ligament .• Mild knee joint effusion . You need a surgery to reconstruct ur acl ligament. Post surgey u will stand the very next day. u will need one month rehabilitation and exercise to start ur routine activities and normal walking.  Sports activities or riding bike will need 3 months. Without surgery all ur other structure other than acl will heal and need around one month care.  But sin e acl is not constructed u will find difficulty in walking,  changing position in bed and climbing down stairs. So think and take a wise decision.

Acl will require surgery MCL , fibular head fracture may unite. Operative treatment will be possible only once you have good knee range of motion to prevent stiffness. Disclaimer: Best treatment guidance can be provided only after clinical examination and treatment option can vary
