I have 4.5mm stone in my left kidney and small concretions in right one . I have started taking homeopathic medicine . After proper examine, My doctor advised me not to eat tomatoes, rice, brinjal, okra and spinach till treatment. He said i can have nuts like almonds and walnuts but in moderation. I am drinking a lot of water, eating proper vegetables and fruits. But my question is that i can't have chapatis / rotis all the time, so what is the best substitute of rice? Sometimes i crave for pasta(wholewheat) but i can't have it because i can't use tomato sauce or tomatoes in it , (white sauce pastas include white flour so i don't like it)and what can be the substitute of tomatoes in pastas , lentils or curries? Ps- i am not suffering from any other health issue.
Dear Practo user,
From the information u have shared. No where u have mentioned type of stone so suggesting some modifications will be difficult.
What ever homeopath suggested are general suggestion only..it's good to follow.
There is no restrictions on wheat rice etc.
Better go for complex carbs instead of simple ones.
Next Steps
one simple suggestion is
consume 150ml banana stem juice in empty stomach for 10days
consume 3-4 L water per day

Take direct consultation through my practo account - I need your complete information like , age, height, weight, medical history, food allergy, likes - dislikes, are veg or nonveg. Then I can guide you further.
You need to take a high fibre diet with complex carbohydrates , low in fat. In place a chapati you can also take oats , Dalia , brown rice etc
In place of tomatoes , you can add little tamarind water or drops of lemon for its sour taste.
Rest we can only explain you in detail when we will be having your full details
Detected 3mm kidney stone, please advice on what vegetables and dals i can use in my diet. Thank you.
