RCT with post & core, no temporary crown
70 yrs, RCT with post & core is done on tooth second from front. On one more anterior tooth with old RCT has recent composite filling placed.
Dental caps (CAD/CAM ceramic) on both teeth is yet to b placed.
I can see some reddish tissue like area near root of tooth.
Dentist has called after a week for dental cap placement and there is no temporary crown fitted. No antibiotics?/med given due to cirrhosis.
Is it okay to place cap after a week? Is there any chance of infection or other issues?

Leaving a tooth without temporary crown is not ideal after post and core and RCT treated. it increases the risk of Microleakage, Fracture risk, Soft tissue irritation.
No meds are prescribed as patient has chirrhosis, and no past or present infections present so its fine
