Random sugar test is 214,done half an hour after breakfast.one month back fasting was 114.is it ok or diabetes, or further evaluation required?

Further evaluation needed. Take fasting and 2 hrs after bf lunch and dinner. Make a note of what you are eating and how food is affecting your sugar levels. Range Fasting 90-100 and PP 110-140. Get HBA1C also done

Hi Although your blood sugar is on the higher side but to confirm your diabetes you need to get more specific blood tests to be done. Get HbA1C test done (fasting is not required,it can be done at any time).
