The presentation is suggestive of **acute gastroenteritis**, likely viral or food-borne in origin. The primary concern at this stage is prevention of dehydration. Symptomatic treatment with an antiemetic such as ondansetron may be considered if vomiting is persistent. A probiotic may help reduce the duration of diarrhea. Soft, easily digestible foods should be taken as tolerated, while oily, spicy, and heavy meals should be avoided. Close monitoring is advised for warning signs including high fever, blood in stools, severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, reduced urine output, or worsening weakness, which would warrant prompt medical evaluation. If symptoms do not improve within 24–48 hours, further assessment including stool studies and laboratory investigations may be required
Next Steps
Adequate oral rehydration with ORS, coconut water, or clear fluids in small frequent sips.

This looks like a stomach infection or food-related gastric upset causing vomiting, loose motions, abdominal discomfort, and weakness. Since it started only a few hours ago, the main focus right now should be preventing dehydration and controlling the vomiting. Make sure the patient drinks plenty of fluids in small amounts frequently, such as ORS, coconut water, rice water, lemon water, or clear soups. Avoid oily, spicy, outside food, milk products, and heavy meals for the next day or two. Soft foods like rice, banana, toast, curd, and khichdi are usually easier to tolerate. For vomiting, Ondansetron 4 mg can be taken if needed. A probiotic capsule or sachet twice daily for a few days can help with loose motions. If there is significant abdominal cramping, an antispasmodic medicine may also help. Weakness is usually due to fluid loss and generally improves once hydration becomes adequate. This is commonly seen and most patients improve with rest, fluids, and supportive treatment over the next one to two days.
Next Steps
At this stage, antibiotics are usually not needed unless there is high fever, blood in stool, severe abdominal pain, or symptoms becoming persistent. If vomiting continues, urine output decreases, dizziness worsens, or symptoms do not improve within 24–48 hours, then medical evaluation is necessary and IV fluids may be required.
Health Tips
Take care and do contact in case of any doubt.

This sounds like acute gastroenteritis, usually viral. Stay well hydrated with ORS in small frequent sips and avoid solid food initially. Once vomiting settles, start with bland foods like rice, banana, and curd. Avoid spicy, oily, and dairy foods for now. If symptoms don't improve in 24 hours, vomiting is very frequent, or there is fever and blood in stool, please see a doctor right away.
Next Steps
Feel free to consult me on Practo for proper guidance.
