2023-01-09 08:55:57
Am a mom of 20 days old baby.  Am having UTI for 4 days. The doctor suggested medicine and antibiotics. Is there any food to be taken to get rid of infection quickly? Also let me know the foods to be avoided that increases the infection. Am pure vegetarian.

Hi Did you have a C section? Sometimes after a C section u tend to have UTI? Medicines and antibiotics are a definite yes at this stage to combat the illness soon as the baby also needs to be taken care of. If you do not have gastritis squeeze the juice of 1 lemon in a litre of freshly boiled water and keep sipping this water through the day. Eat fruits like watermelon, orange and keep eating cucumber atleast three times a day. This will flush off the toxins to some extent. Drink also hot water from boiling rice to which 1/2 tsp of butter is added
