Periods at 4 months postpartum
I had a C-section 4 months ago and am exclusively breastfeeding. My period returned at 2 months postpartum with a 35-day gap between the first two cycles. However, it has now been 40 days since my last period and I haven't started bleeding yet. My baby recently started sleeping a 4 to 5-hour stretch at night. I am not experiencing any pain, cramps, or unusual discharge. Is it normal to get two periods postpartum and then have them skip or become irregular while exclusively breastfeeding?
