Period delay

I wanted to ask about my girlfriend's delayed period. Her last period started on June 28, and we expected her next period around July 28, but she still hasn't gotten it. We were intimate between July 2 and July 6, but there was no vaginal intercourse or penetration. We only had oral sex and fingering, and there was no ejaculation. She also took a home pregnancy test, which was negative. Given this situation, is pregnancy a concern, or could the delayed period be due to other reasons? Should we wait a little longer for her period, or would you recommend that she consult a gynecologist or get any tests done?

With no penetrative sex and a negative home test, pregnancy is unlikely, so this delay is more likely due to stress, hormonal shift, or lifestyle changes.
Next Steps
If your period doesn't start within another week or two, please repeat the home test and see a gynaecologist for a checkup.
Health Tips
A single delayed cycle is common and usually not a cause for worry on its own.
