He got severe pain on left side near ribs when he lay  on bed. It is from 3-4months  why it pains how can it be prevented

Thank u for Question.... Pain may be due to various reason... pericondral inflammation...? any trauma...? intracostal nerve neuralgiya...? or any refered pain...? need detail history...work shlchedual...past history of trauma...any drug history... thank u Regards Dr Amjad Jamadar

May be it's due to intercostal neuralgia...

apply ice 3-4 times daily some anti inflammatory for few days...if pain continues consult orthopaedic
