Hi. Looks like left sided hip spasm. Icing over the area, iliotibial band stretch and lions stretch with a pillow beneath left knee will surely help. Kindly look for piriformis stretch also... Adding to it keep doing tummy tuck exercises thrice daily 15 sets per session and chin tucks also as it relieves pressure over spine . Hot pack and very slow gentle kneading over the area will help you.. take care
Next Steps
Continue with the exercises and core stability and strengthening

Based on your symptoms, this looks like piriformis syndrome or sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction, where the deep hip muscles and lower back structures become tight or inflamed. Pain increasing while lifting the buttocks, lying down flat, or trying to turn sideways indicates: • Piriformis muscle spasm • Gluteal muscle tightness • Possible SI joint irritation • Core and hip stabilizer weakness This usually happens due to prolonged sitting, wrong sleeping posture, or sudden awkward movement.
Next Steps
1. Apply warm bag on lower back + buttock region for 10–15 mins twice daily. 2. Avoid sleeping on a very soft mattress. 3. Start gentle stretches (pain-free): • Piriformis stretch • Knee-to-chest stretch • Cat–Camel mobility 4. Avoid lifting heavy weight, bending forward suddenly, or long sitting. 5. If pain increases or starts radiating down the leg, get a physical examination done by a physiotherapist for proper SI joint and hip assessment.
Health Tips
Do not try hard exercises right now, it may worsen the muscle spasm. • If numbness/tingling starts, get an MRI lumbosacral spine evaluation. • With proper physiotherapy (manual therapy + stretching + strengthening), this condition usually improves within 5–7 days.

Don’t worry Gentleman — based on your symptoms, your clinical pattern suggests sensitization of the left SI joint. This usually happens due to many reasons, but it is not a major problem, so please be reassured. It mainly occurs when the force-closure mechanism of the SI joint is not functioning properly. In simple terms, the muscles and ligaments around the joint are not supporting or firing well enough to maintain proper stability. This can create irritability in the left SI region. From the message you shared, your pain increases when: • You lift your pelvis while lying on your back • You shift sideways Both of these activities involve extension or backward-bending movements, which means your irritability increases during those patterns. To understand the exact cause, I will need to assess: • How long you’ve had this problem • The intensity and nature of your pain • Whether the pain increases with prolonged sitting, standing, or during sit-to-stand transitions • Your single-leg balance and loading tolerance Only after assessing these can I determine whether it is mainly a muscular issue or a ligament-related issue. Feel free to contact me for a consultation. If the issue is functional, both your pain and overall functional ability can improve significantly within 2–4 weeks with proper treatment. Take care, and see you soon.

Your symptoms suggest lower back or SI joint strain. Pain increases when lifting the hips or shifting because the joint/muscles are irritated. Since it reduces after moving, it is likely a mechanical issue, not serious. For more details click here myohealhealthcare.com
Next Steps
• Warm pack 10–15 min • Avoid bending/twisting • Gentle stretches (hamstring, glute) • Light core/bridging exercises (pain-free)
Health Tips
Use a firm mattress. If pain lasts more than a week, get a physiotherapy assessment.
