Pain in face after re rct

I had re rct of my left lateral 3 weeks ago. I have pain in tip of tooth,around the tooth, in lip near that tooth,inside nose also. What pain is this. Cbct show nothing except little ligament widening. Please help.

There could be many reasons for this:- 1- Infection has not subsided completely. 2- Re-infection. 3- Sealer and GP is out of the apex of tooth ( can be checked with X-ray ). Treatment:- Have to take antibiotics for some time and wait n watch, if it heals then go for capping , but if its not healing then extraction is the last option followed by either a bridge or implant which is the best option if you can afford.

As you saying there must be some fault with Rct mean over obturation.why you gone for cbct.plz upload your xray or visit another Dentist.

It is difficult to diagnose your problem without seeing your xray reports. Please visit an Endodontist for the same. For symptomatic relief, you may take painkillers after food .

Hi. It could be many reasons...failure of the root canal, reinfection of the root canal treated tooth, overfilled sealer at the apex area, chronic infection at the tip which is reacting to the treatment. So just wait for a while or try taking antibiotics to control if there is infection. If pain doesnt subside extraction and going for an implant would probably be the best solution.
