Due to compression the back the neck got swollen, it can be redyce by applying hot pack twice a day. If applied diclofenac ointment before hot pack will be very helpfull in relieving pain as well. Later after reducing of pain start with neck and shoulder exercises. Same apply hot pack at lower back for back pain issue. If possible take an xray of cervical spine to confirm if there is any issue with nerve or discs located in neck.

You have to work on swelling around neck & starts as shoulder exercises as early as possible under physiotherapist guidance as per my opinion. Apply hot pack around neck.
Health Tips
Posture should be in correct position Take pillow not so hard not so soft . After every hour do normal neck movement.
