For how long one need to take ocd medicine....I am stable on fluvoxin 150 and clonil 50 for the last five months....

Hi.. usually OCD needs treatment for a long duration usually a year . One  may need treatment for longer duration if symptoms persist.

OCD is a long term for many life time disorder and treatment has to be continue with regular review with a psychiatrist. Good luck

Talk with your prescribing psychiatrist. OCD can have "relapses" if medication is tapered and the course of your medication including decreasing them depends on a proper assessment and a joint understanding of your illness.

Hello, If you have no symptoms you will have to consult your treating Psychiatrist he will better advise you to decreased the dosage
