Looks like a simple viral cold. No fever is reassuring. Give warm water with honey (half tsp) 2-3 times a day, steam inhalation, and saline nasal drops for the blocked nose. No antibiotics needed. Should resolve in 5-7 days.
Next Steps
Consult me on Practo if fever develops or cough worsens after a week.

It's usually a viral respiratory infection. Home remedies like steam inhalation, warm water to drink with honey etc are best for such cases. If sleep or appetite  is disturbed or there is weakness, then medicines are needed. Visit a pediatrician for a check up

Hello You can use nasoclear/otrivin saline nasal spray for blocked nose.. cough might take a week or so to subside.. you can give him honey, salt water gargling to soothe the throat.. you can use syrup levocetrizine 5 mL once daily at night for 3 days if needed.

Greetings For a 7-year-old with a dry cough and mild nasal block, home care focuses on comfort and hydration. Offer warm liquids like clear broths, warm water with lemon, or a teaspoon of honey to soothe the throat as recommended Use saline nasal drops or a cool-mist humidifier to gently relieve the mild blocked nose. Since there is no fever, monitor closely for any signs of breathing difficulty, chest pain, or wheezing. Kindly wait

If no fever, sore throat or other associated symptoms simply use cough syrup if cough is troublesome
