A plant based protein has better assimilation in the body compared to whey protein.Since whey protein has had long term side effects we do not recommend them.However you can increase the quality of pre workout n post work out foods.Like for example drink a banana milkshake with abt 4-5 almonds or apricots or walnuts before a workout.And have a combination of complex carbs and fresh veggies or lean meat post workout.
