Does taking 5g of metformin at a time kill a patient? How many grams of metformin causes lactic acidosis?

Hi., I can understand your concern. 5g is not lethal. But it may cause severe gastritis. More than 2g cause Lactic acidosis. Go to nearby hospital if took accidentally.
