These painful mood shifts, intense sadness, and deep loneliness strongly suggest Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or trauma-induced clinical depression.
Next Steps
Please consider speaking with Dr. Rupali Mohbe, a psychologist. Book a convenient online or offline session via BIRDYME. Find her at 208, CENTRAL, Sangath IPL, Motera, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Health Tips
When trauma memories overwhelm you, try physical grounding: stomp your feet hard or touch a cold object. This instantly pulls your brain out of past pain and into the present.

Mental trauma can be as painful as physical trauma and can leave scars. If not processed it can affect our day to day functioning. Sometimes our perception of the world and people can change due to it. It can result in an error in thinking. However with proper treatment and therapy these symptoms can improve and you can return back to living a normal life.
Next Steps
You should consider consulting a psychiatrist as medications can also help along with psychotherapy.
Health Tips
Try practicing some relaxation exercise as JPMR (can search on youtube).

Use a journal, write your thoughts in a diary. Know your emotional thoughts and things that lead you here. Light therapy:- Take morning sunlight and go for a nature walk. You will feel better. Do Exercise and take a proper balanced diet. Overeating and fasting are not a solution to your depression. Meditation will help you to declutter your thoughts, reduce overthinking and calm your mind. Talk to loved ones who understand you. You can also do audio recording to pour all your thoughts into it. Follow hobbies that relax you. Example:- painting, gardening, dancing etc., Don’t isolate yourself. Join any community to busy yourself. Take 7–8 hours of proper sleep. Neither oversleeping or less sleep will make your condition more complicated. Make future goals and restructure your thinking in proper direction. Like What you will do the next day, week or end of a year. Make a long term goal and work toward it.

Hi What you are experiencing can happen after prolonged emotional trauma. Trauma can affect the way we think, feel, trust, connect with others, and respond to everyday situations. Feeling okay at times and then suddenly experiencing deep sadness, loneliness, or loss of motivation may indicate that the emotional impact of what happened is still unresolved. Please don’t ignore these feelings or blame yourself for them. Healing from trauma is possible, but it often requires processing the experience in a safe and supportive space. Talking to a psychologist can help you understand your emotional patterns and gradually rebuild emotional strength and motivation. If your sadness becomes overwhelming or you have thoughts of harming yourself, please seek immediate professional or emergency support.
