For the gut, try smaller regular meals, less caffeine and cold drinks, limit very gassy foods (rajma, cabbage, onion, excess milk), add curd or a probiotic, and keep hydrated; do not depend on IBS tablets long term without review. Anxiety and IBS feed each other, so 15-20 minutes of walking, slow breathing for 5 minutes twice daily and a regular sleep routine really do help. Since you also mention shortness of breath and a rapid heart rate, if you ever get chest pain, severe breathlessness, fainting or palpitations at rest, please go to the emergency the same day. Bring your reports and book a consult with me on Practo, and we will sort out the deficiency part and give you a proper IBS diet plan.

Can worsen around periods due to hormonal changes. Weight loss, weakness, palpitations and breathlessness need evaluation. Consider CBC, ferritin iron profile, B12, TSH and electrolytes.

Hormone shifts in the days before your period genuinely can make IBS symptoms and anxiety feel worse. This is a real, recognised pattern, not something you're imagining.
Next Steps
The weight loss, rapid heart rate, and constant fatigue need their own check-up with a physician, since these go well beyond period-related IBS.
Health Tips
Please don't assume the weight loss or restless legs are just hormonal until a doctor has actually ruled other causes out.
