Lymph node tb

I have attached my mom's ct scan report. She was diagnosed with lymph node tb. The attached ct scan was taken before taking tb treatment. Now 5 months is completed. Doctor initially recommend 6 months of tb treatment. Will the tb be gone after 6 months?

I don't know what other tests were done to confirm that it is indeed TB. CT Scan or X ray don't give the diagnosis of TB.

It’s minimum 6 months, it depends on how the patients immune responses. The course might even get extended if necessary accordingly by DOTS

CT scan is showing enlarged lymph nodes, it will be of multiple reasons, usually we have to do FNAC/ biopsy of Lymph node, after the report ATT will be started.. In her already TB medication was started and she received for 5 months, so let her complete the course of 6 months.. If the size of lypmh nodes are decreasing no need to worry..
