As u r into IT profession, maybe Ur Prolong sitting is causing compression on Ur pundendal nerve. If Ur pain is more than 2-3 wks, u use hot pack around Ur lower back muscles and buttocks, regularly get up n move around, do foam roller release of IT band and stretch front thigh muscles.

You must do some lumbar and pelvic mobility exercises like cat and camel exercise. Then do some stretching exercises for hip flexors, pyriformis and hamstrings. Do core strengthening- abs and gluts. If pain doesnot settle, meet an expert in person.Do not neglect.

First go for an x ray may be some thing wrong with sacram (tail bone).once the cause is identified then we need to manipulate the bone to put into alignment and relief the lumbar muscle spasm also .so the pain disappear. Early you do the therapy easy to fix faster.
