It’s ok AFI ,if growth and parameters are normal Don’t worry Continue same as you are doing If AFI is less and baby growth is normal with normal Doppler nothing to worry but need proper follow up

I don't know how you got the idea that your AFI is low when it has been up to 9.6 cm . You are  31 weeks now. Now is the time that the AFI will go up till 38 weeks and after that it may reduce a little. If anything you have been overtreated. Anyway, no harm. Your pregnancy is progressing nicely.

AFI of 9.6 cm is nothing to worry much it's definitely in the normal range.Do the scan regularly as advised and monitor the fetal movements and keep yourself well hydrated.

The AFI is not the only parameter that we take into account while assessing your pregnancy and baby's health. AFI of 9.6 at 31 weeks is not an overly worrisome factor if the growth and dopplers are all fine. Unnecessary stress and anxiety is what can be a problem rather than a small decrease in AFI. So, relax and follow your gynecologist's treatment plan and advice.
