Hello Dr I m having lower back pain from 2 months I can't move forward bending and backword bending. I can't sleep because of pain in my back. I got x ray of lumbosacral ap and lat Everything normal but loss of lumber lordosis due to muscle spasm And corrolate clinically I want to this problem need surgery? Or physical therapy and exercise is enough? And I want to know how much time to recover? Please advise

Hi, its very surprising that at 19 yrs loss of lumbar lordosis. Because this takes years together to happen. Hot fomentation and physiotherapy should b done.

No need for surgery, you need proper rest, avoid standing for prolonged time, dont lift any objects while bending down. Take Electrotherapy treatment for 2 weeks, it will be reduced, After reducing of pain you will be suggested with strengthening exercises, which you need to continue for a month to make lower back muscles strong. Visit nearby physiotherapy clinic and take IFT+US for 2 weeks. rest as much as possible.
