It is pertinent that a small surgery is required to relieve the lip tie. Nothing to worry about it. It’s a chair side simple procedure. If it’s not done there is every chance of teeth not aligning and will cause malocclusion.

Hi your child appears to have a mild upper lip tie. Since there are no current functional issues, no treatment is needed at this stage. I recommend monitoring until the permanent teeth erupt. If a gap persists or related problems arise, frenectomy can be considered later.

You do not need to worry about this right now. The attachment of the lip is a bit high but only needs monitoring for now. Visit your dentist 1-2 per year; sometimes the tissue thins out and nothing is to be done. If needed a small procedure may be done after his permanent teeth come in if it causes any issues then.

1. Yes, by reviewing the image, it looks like lip tie, the upper labial frenum attaching low is common in infants 2. If there is no issues with feeding, weight gain and oral function it can be considered a normal anatomic variation as well 3. many might thin out in the future 4. the kid also has space between two front teeth, it should close when permanent teeth comes out NO TREATMNET NEEDED NOW REGULAR CHECKUPS AT AGE 5-6 YEARS And in rare case FRENECTOMY, MAY BE NEEDED after 6 years of age
