Left side mouth the skin is red and pian

My left side of the mouth above the below between the teeth there is a red patch and the skin is also read also pain some time and today it's very much paining and I also consulted for general physician they suggested for goggles in salt water for 2 times and given tab combiflame for 2 days what are the symptoms and how long this would be what are the medicine to be taken to get the problem fixed... Please help

The clinical examination alongwith the images are required to reach to proper treatment for this patch..Warm saline gargles might give you relief but that is just temporary relief..A painkiller alongwith topical application of Mucopain ointment might be helpful..Visit a dentist for the permanent treatment after visualising the area and size of the patch.
