it seems to be a degenerative osteoarthritis,which reoccurs because of lack of precautions or overuse.there can be an increase in blood
uric acid level which aggravates the condition.first you should get the X-RAY one and test of Blood uric acid level done.

go to a physiotherapist and take the treament.Ultrasonic therapy helps in healing and reducing tenderness if any,Wax therapy increases blood circulation and helps in relieving pain and swelling,Exercises will increase the muscle strength.Do it for at least 2-3 weeks.You will get the relief for sure.......in chronic cases ,if not responding(no relief at all) after taking physiotherapy,need to take hydrocortisone injection. if having any increase in
uric acid level, avoid taking protein diet along with the physiotherapy.
